Impact investing and partnerships working group

Impact investing can play an important role in more effectively harnessing resources to improve social outcomes for people and communities across Australia. Impact investing can support innovation in the delivery of services. It can also help alleviate poverty through creating training and employment opportunities for people who experience barriers entering the open labour market.

“The Impact investing and partnerships working group wants to hear from people with ideas for how Australia can better support the emerging impact investment market, specifically how Australia can increase potential impact investment opportunities and help to build the sector’s capacity. It is particularly interested in hearing from social entrepreneurs so we can better understand their needs in this context.”
